The 5000 bunching shear is for drive-to-tree and track feller bunchers and is best suited to pine and eucalyptus plantations. The 5000 series saw achieves optimal production in uniform timber profiles sized under 40 cm (16 in) diameter.

5300 Bunching Saw

The 5300 bunching saw boosts feller buncher productivity in smaller diameter plantation wood under 405 mm (16 in). It has greater accumulating capacity than the 5000 bunching saw but the added weight of the additional trees and extra steel in the structure means that the 5300 is only suited to the 87oC series track carriers. 5500 Felling Saw

Similar to Mackolines Machines & Hire bunching saws, the 5500 felling saw uses a two-arm configuration combined with an offset pocket. To accommodate larger timber and maintain machine balance, the pocket is shallower and closer to centre.

The 5500 series felling saw is available for drive-to-tree feller bunchers and enhances versatility in mixed and natural stands. The 5500 is also an excellent choice for contractors requiring the flexibility required to move between thinning and final fell jobs.

5400 Felling Saw

With innovative, asymmetrical geometry and a three-arm design, the 5400 felling saw is versatile with the ability to bunch smaller stems or fell large diameter timber. Accumulating several trees in parallel alignment increases both feller buncher and skidder productivity.

Larger trees, up to 545 mm (22 in) diameter are centered on the butt plate for excellent balance and control. Small diameter trees are accumulated and stored in the offset pocket.
