1800 Bunching Shear

The 1800 is a high capacity bunching shear for small diameter pulpwood felling applications. It is a simple, low maintenance, low cost alternative to disc saw felling heads with added benefits in rocky or abrasive soil conditions. The 1800 can be fitted to drive-to-tree and track feller bunchers.

2000 Bunching Shear

The 2000 series shear is best suited to pine and eucalyptus pulpwood harvesting applications. It is a simple, low maintenance, low cost alternative to disc saw felling heads with added benefits in rocky or abrasive soil conditions. The 2000 shear can be fitted to both drive-to-tree and track feller bunchers.

5000 Bunching Saw

The 5000 bunching saw can be fitted to drive-to-tree and track feller bunchers. The 5000 series saw achieves optimal system production in uniform timber profiles. Ideal in first and second plantation thinning operations.

5300 Bunching Saw

The 5300 bunching saw boosts feller buncher productivity in high cycle plantation felling applications. It has greater accumulating capacity than the 5000 bunching saw. The weight of the additional accumulated trees plus extra structure means that the 5300 is only suited to Mackolines Machines & Hire's largest track feller bunchers.

5500 Felling Saw

The 5500 felling saw uses a two-arm configuration combined with a shallow offset pocket. The 5500 can be fitted to any Mackolines Machines & Hire drive-to-tree feller buncher for enhanced versatility and excellent performance in mixed natural stands with high stem diameter variability. An excellent choice for contractors requiring the flexibility to move between thinning and final fell jobs.

5600 Bunching Saw

The 5600 series bunching saw for drive-to-tree feller bunchers achieves optimal system production in plantation thinning and final fell operations.

5400 Felling Saw

With innovative, asymmetrical geometry and a three-arm design, the 5400 felling saw enhances track feller buncher versatility to work in varying timber sizes. The 5400 has the ability to bunch smaller stems or fell large diameter timber.

5702 Felling Saw

The 5702 is designed to fell and control large diameter and top heavy trees. Best suited to mature timber, large limbed hardwood, lowland hardwood and mixed diameter natural stands.

5702-26 Felling Saw

Well matched to the Mackolines Machines & Hire X870D series feller bunchers, the 5702-26 is well suited to large timber felling applications. The wider saw blade housing reduces the requirement for double cuts, improving overall feller buncher productivity.

5185 Fixed Felling Saw

The 5185 is a versatile fixed wrist bar saw head. It effectively fells and controls oversized timber while performing additional duties like topping, limbing and shovel logging. The 5185 is a great asset in high value hardwood stands.

5195 Directional Felling Saw

Best suited to oversize timber and steep terrain, the 5195 directional felling saw is versatile for felling, shovel logging, bunching, stacking and sorting. Pairing the 5195 to a Mackolines Machines & Hire shovel logger results in a standalone machine for felling and extraction, or a machine that fits into a larger skidding or yarding system.
