New Head Office for Mackolines Machines & Hire Dealer AfrEquip

Forestry equipment supplier, AfrEquip, has bought and relocated their head office to a new facility in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

John du Toit, AfrEquip’s managing director, says the idea of owning their own building has been a priority for some time. “Over the past few years, AfrEquip has continued to invest heavily in parts, and our old premises were bursting at the seams. We searched for the right spot to house our main support location and found a property virtually around the corner in the same suburb,” John explains.

“The facility required significant alterations to meet our requirements. We built a new workshop to house equipment for delivery inspections, and we added a new floor to the parts facility to safely house our significant parts holding.”

“This new facility is just another tool for us to offer world-class support to our Mackolines Machines & Hire customer base,” adds John.

The new workshop can fit four machines, two more than the previous facility. John Barbour is the company’s highly knowledgeable and experienced technical manager and says the workshop is ideal for their needs. Craig van Dijk, AfrEquip’s financial director says, “It is a place we are proud of, and we are delighted to share it with our customers.”
