Upgrade procedure for LogOn version 3.0 (only) to version 3.X
1 INTRODUCTION
This manual describes the upgrade procedure of LogOn Telematics modules from:
System Monitor version 2.0 to 2.1
Firmware version 3.0 to the latest version 3.X
NOTE: This procedure does not work with firmware version 2.9 or lower, nor for firmware version 3.1 or higher.
For upgrading firmware from version 2.X to version 3.X, please see the document labeled 'Upgrade procedure for LogOn version 2.9 or lower to version 3.X'.
For upgrading firmware from version 3.1 to 3.X, please refer to the Mackolines Machines & Hire App and follow update instructions.

2 UPGRADE PROCEDURE
2.1 Key on the machine
To connect to the telematics module, we need to first power it up and for that you need to KEY ON the machine.
2.2 Connect to the Logon Wi-Fi
To access the LogOn Wi-Fi portal, you must connect to the LogOn network of your machine. You should see a Wi-Fi network with your machine’s serial number, connect to it.
2.3 Log into the LogOn Portal
Open a web browser, type “192.168.2.1” into the address bar and hit enter.
Use the Owner LogOn credentials. If you have not reset these credentials the default will be: USERNAME: Owner PASSWORD: Owner7Q (password is case-sensitive)
Click on the Settings icon located on the top right corner of the page.
Click on the SYSTEM tab located on the left sidebar to open the system settings and click on the Firmware Update panel. Here you may need to use the double chevrons to toggle over to the panel labeled Current Firmware. Verify that it is 3.0 or higher.
Once confirmed, click on the Start Update Manager icon.
Using the double chevrons, toggle over to the CURRENT SYSTEM panel and verify that the Monitor Version is 2.0.
2.4 Installation of New System Monitor
Click on the Choose File button and select "System_Monitor_87244BRXX.tsm" from the popup. Click on the Upload button.
Click on the Upload button located within the SYSTEM MONITOR popup to confirm the update.
You should then see a blue progress bar.
At the end, you will see the the following popup. The name of the Wi-Fi will be different depending on your machine.
You will get disconnected while the telematics module is rebooting. So, click on the available Wi-Fi networks and connect to the LogOn Wi-Fi option with the serial number of your machine.
From your web browser, navigate to "http://192.168.2.1/". The telematics module will be in Safe Mode. "CURRENT SYSTEM" information will tell you that the Monitor Version is now "2.1" and now you can proceed with the update to the Firmware.
2.5 Installation of New Firmware
Under Choose File select "TCT_Firmware_86420BRXX.tfw". Click on the Upload button.
You will see a prompt asking you if you want to go ahead with the update. Click on the Upload button located within the FIRMWARE popup.
You should see validation start after the update completes.
Once validation completes, the following popup will appear on the page. Click on the Check icon located within the popup to finish the process.
